JK Narva Trans was founded in 1979 as a football club of a transport company called Avtobaza No. 13. From 1979-1989 it was known under the name Avtomobilist, then from 1989-1991 - FC Avtobaza. On July 30, 1991 was registered as a football club Narva Trans.
Today it is the only club representing the city of Narva and the county of Ida-Virumaa, whose team plays in the Premium League of Estonia. It is a team that has played all seasons in the Estonian Championship since its foundation.
