At the beginning of the new year, The Amy Winehouse Band will perform in Tallinn and Tartu. The band is the original line-up of Amy Winehouse’s backing band – the musicians who recorded and performed alongside the late, beloved singer.
The Amy Winehouse Band features members of the original line-up – the musicians who helped shape Amy’s distinctive and groundbreaking sound. The band is led by Amy’s longtime musical director and bass player Dale Davis, who was also a close friend of the singer.
At the concerts in Tartu and Tallinn, the band will perform Amy’s legendary hits exactly as they were originally intended to sound. Audiences can expect an emotional and energetic journey through masterpieces such as “Back to Black”, “Rehab”, “You Know I’m No Good” and “Tears Dry on Their Own”.
To do justice to Amy’s powerful and deeply emotional vocal parts, the band will be joined by an exceptionally talented guest vocalist who is able to honour Amy’s unique musical legacy.
This is not a tribute concert, but an authentic, high-quality live experience presented by the musicians who formed the musical core of Amy Winehouse’s sound.
This October, The Amy Winehouse Band will also celebrate the 20th anniversary of Amy’s groundbreaking album “Back to Black” with a special concert in London. The evening will feature the album’s producers Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi, along with several renowned guest vocalists. The Estonian concerts are also part of the anniversary tour celebrating this Grammy-winning album, filled with some of Amy’s most iconic hits.
