Kikumu Winter – a party at the ski resort!

The upcoming winter will also see the addition of KIKUMU Winter!

From 20 to 21 February, a two-day festival will take place in Jäneda, which, in addition to music, also offers winter sports opportunities at Nelijärve and Valgehobusemäe. The first artists announced are the German tech house duo Booka Shade, the timeless Ajukaja and Mart Avi, the groovy, funky and free Gram-Of-Fun, the rebellious but melodic boipepperoni and the drum beats of Mava & Nebukat.

Kikumu Winter takes place at the Jäneda Training Center. During the day, you can enjoy the winter activities offered on both Nelijärv and Valgehobusemägi in the form of skiing, sledding, a winter safari or, for example, building disco snow balls. On Saturday, Kikumu creator Indrek Kasela will set up his ski school. In the evenings, you can show off with your wool socks and enjoy the best sounds in front of the study center's stages. You can also rent a sauna at the Jäneda study center.

The heart and one of the main performers of the winter festival is the Jäneda Training Center, a former state farm technical school, designed by Valve Pormeister and built next to the Jäneda manor house in 1975. This modernist building has also been selected as one of the 10 most important buildings in Estonia of the last 100 years! The festival area also includes the main building of Jäneda Manor, completed in 1915, a pond (may be covered with ice) and hopefully a snowy manor park. A few minutes' walk from the study building is Kalijärv.

The Jäneda Training Center is only an hour's drive from the capital, but it is also very convenient to get there by train from Tallinn to Tartu or Tallinn to Aegviidu.

The bus from the festival will run on the route:

Aegviidu-Nelijärve-Jäneda-Nelijärve-Aegviidu on February 20 and Nelijärve-Valgehobusemägi-Nelijärve on February 21.

The Kikumu winter pass includes concerts, films and art at the Jäneda Learning Center, winter activities at Nelijärv or Valgehobusemäe are available for an additional fee.

• Family pass: 100.-(2 days, 2 adults + up to two 16-year-old children)
• One-day family ticket: 75.-

Children up to 8 years old (incl.) enter free when accompanied by an adult.

KIKUMU offers visitors several affordable and comfortable accommodation options. Additional information about accommodation options can be found on the festival website.

Those who are faster can book accommodation in the comfortable hostel and holiday homes of the Nelijärve Holiday Centre.

Festival grounds are accessible to visitors with reduced mobility. Please note that the event takes place on a grassy field.

From 11:00 PM onwards, minors may only remain in the festival area if accompanied by an adult.

It is prohibited to bring your own food and drinks onto the festival grounds, including reusable glass containers, as well as any fire, cold, or other types of weapons.

The organiser reserves the right to deny entry to anyone who is visibly intoxicated.
