In memory of Micha van Hoecke’s 80th birthday, Aria Tango (2013) is staged again by Miki Matsuse for the Balletto di Milano. The choreography on pieces by Luis Bacalov, Oscar winner for the soundtrack of the film "Il postino", is a "choreographic poem" in which van Hoecke, without descriptive intent, in a timeless and surreal atmosphere, tells moods, fears, fears, passions.
In the second act, the famous Boléro by Maurice Ravel in the exclusive version from the Milan Ballet: not only a game of seduction, but the timeless story of a birth, of an inevitable attraction towards such a being, succession of encounters. Sinuous bodies come to life and interwine a dance that draws the musical swell to the surprising ending. A dynamic choreography that grows with music and culminates in the sensational ending.
